Arsenal have launched a report to the Football Association over referee Mike Dean’s behaviour during half-time of Saturday’s match against Manchster United.

In a case similar to the Chelsea vs Clattenburg issue last week, the Gunners have lodged a strong complaint to the FA, claiming that Mike Dean used inappropriate language towards one of their players – believed to be Andre Santos – calling the Brazilian a “footballer”.

A spokesman of the club claims Santos admitted to overhearing the referee scream “Andre, you footballer!” as the players entered the Old Trafford tunnel during the break.

The words from Dean appeared to have seriously offended marketing agent Santos who had successfully collected Robin van Persie’s shirt to fulfill the request of Ivan Gazidis as the Arsenal chief executive plans to sell the jersey on ebay to gather more profits for the club’s board.
