Arsenal shareholder calls for Wenger to be sacked due to this reason
One of the club’s shareholders has taken to social media to call for the sacking of Arsene Wenger due to Arsenal’s impending business in the transfer window.
The Gunners are currently sitting outside of the top four of the Premier League after a run of dispiriting results in December which have so far continued in January.
Wenger received severe criticism for the way he handled the club’s transfer business during last summer as the likes of Gabriel and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were sold without a replacement.
And with the future Alexis Sanchez very much in doubt as he edges closer to a move to Manchester United, there could be another sale on the way.
The Chilean international would be the second Arsenal star to be sold to the Red Devils in recent years following the surprise departure of Robin van Persie in 2012.
Sanchez is now on the brink of a move to Old Trafford and for Piers Morgan, who owns shares in the club, Wenger should be sacked solely based on his approval of the controversial transfer.
Arsenal are going to sell our best player to Manchester United – again. This alone should be a sacking offence for Wenger, just as it should have been when he gave them RVP so they could win the League. #afc
