Arsenal shareholder has brilliantly embarrassed Alexis Sanchez after Sunday’s game
Popular Arsenal supporter and club shareholder Piers Morgan made an attempt to embarrass former Gunner Alexis Sanchez on Twitter after Sunday’s game.
The Chilean international was linked with a move away from Arsenal before the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign as his transfer to Manchester City collapsed right at the end.
However, the 29-year-old was finally able to seal his departure last month as he completed a switch to Premier League rivals Manchester United in a controversial transfer deal as Henrikh Mkytaryan moved in the opposite direction without any money being exchanged.
Considering his fairly successful career at the Emirates stadium, which saw him win two FA Cup trophies after joining from Barcelona, the exit of Sanchez has not sat too well with much of the Arsenal faithful.
And one of those fans is Piers Morgan who did not resist the opportunity to make fun of the forward on Sunday after seeing him miss a goal-scoring chance in Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat against Newcastle.
£500k-a-week to miss from here.. 😂😂😂 #Sanchez pic.twitter.com/66NMbMGiZl
