Arsenal shareholder Piers Morgan is calling for Arsene Wenger to get another deal done following the closing of the January transfer window last week.
The Gunners were not really expected to be busy during the winter transfer window despite their worrying position in the Premier League.
However, with Alexis Sanchez leaving the club, Wenger opened the door for more high-profile new arrivals to re-strenghten his squad.
The Arsenal manager was able to complete the signings of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang before the window closed with the pair making their first starts for the club against Everton on Saturday.
According to club shareholder Piers Morgan, the Gunners should now focus on renewing the contract of key midfielder Jack Wilshere before it gets too late.
Apart from that, he is also calling for the 26-year-old to be announced as the club’s new captain in place of the soon-to-be retired Per Mertesacker.
