Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi has expressed his thoughts on the attitude of Alexis Sanchez following controversial recent rumours and incidents.
The month of March has been one to forget for the Gunners who have been eliminated from the Champions League and dropped out of the Premier League’s top four as well.
As a result, there has been speculation suggesting that top scorer Alexis Sanchez has had rifts with his teammates in the dressing room.
The Chilean international, who has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season, has displayed his frustration on the pitch on a few occasions.
However, Iwobi insists the team has no problems with Sanchez wearing his heart on his sleeve.
“He’s a player that always wants to win, like everyone in the team,” Iwobi said in an interview
“Maybe he shows it a bit more than anyone else, but that’s what everyone is like, we all want to win, we’re trying our best to win.
“But it’s just a winning mentality, it’s not something everyone in the team hates, we all love to have a player like that. The goals and the assists he brings to the team are great.”
