Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan took to social media to provide his reaction after winning an award on Thursday.

The Gunners have not been at their best for much of this season as they continue to sit outside of the top four of the Premier League.

Back in the January transfer window, Arsene Wenger secured the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United after watching Alexis Sanchez leave the club.

The former Dortmund star did well to rack up three assists in first ever start in an Arsenal shirt as the team thrashed Everton 5-1 at the Emirates stadium at the beginning of February.

Mkhitaryan is still getting used to life as an Arsenal player but that has not stopped him from winning the Armenian footballer of the year award yet again.

The 29-year-old is arguably the most well-known player from his country and after being handed the award, he took to Twitter to send out his appreciation.
