Arsenal star Calum Chambers has revealed what happened in the dressing room as the team trailed 2-0 at half-time on Thursday night.
Many expected the Gunners to sweep aside Ostersund at home after thrashing them 3-0 last week in the first leg of the Europa League tie.
But that did not turn out to be the case as the underdogs took a surprising 2-0 lead in swift fashion.
Arsenal fans were left feeling shocked and frustrated at half-time after watching their team concede twice.
And according to Calum Chambers, who featured in the defeat, words were said in the dressing room as Arsenal trailed at the break.
“We went in at half-time and there were some words said.” Chambers said after the game
“Everyone knew that was a sloppy start, so we came out in the second half and we didn’t turn it on, but we gave a better performance.”
The Gunners did manage to book a place in the next round of the competition as a goal from Sead Kolasinac resisted Ostersund’s comeback.
Arsenal will now face AC Milan in March as they look to maintain their hopes of winning the Europa League.
