Arsenal are reportedly set to complete a loan deal which will see one of the first team players sent out for the rest of the season.
The Gunners had a busy end to the summer transfer window as the likes of Jack Wilshere and Joel Campbell left on loan while Serge Gnabry was sold permanently to Werder Bremen.
And according to new reports, Arsene Wenger is preparing for another move which will temporarily trim down his squad.
The Mirror, via Sunday People, are claiming that Rob Holding is set to be sent out on loan for the rest of the season in a six-month deal in order to gain more experience.
The report claims that a host of clubs in the second division have shown interest in Holding, who has made only a couple of starts for Arsenal in the Premier League since joining the club from Bolton in a $3.1 million deal.
It appears that the return of Per Mertesacker, while Shkodran Mustafi remains on course for recovery by next month, has handed Wenger enough options at centre-back.
