Arsene Wenger has given an update on one of the transfer moves which is doing the rounds in the media.

The Arsenal manager offloaded a few players during last summer’s transfer window as Jack Wilshere, Joel Campbell and Wojciech Szczesny were sent out loan while Serge Gnabry was sold to Werder Bremen on a permanent deal.

Another man who looks set to join that list is Carl Jenkinson, who has been strongly linked with a move to Crystal Palace.

The defender, currently out-of-favour at the club, was reported to be set for a transfer, but Wenger has revealed the terms of the deal have not been agreed.

“It is not necessarily linked with that [Bellerin’s return allowing Jenkinson to leave]. Jenkinson is a possibility to go to Palace, yes, but it has not been finalised.” the Arsenal boss said

“It is basically down to him to find an agreement with them.”
