Jurgen Klopp has sent out a message to the rest of Europe, including Arsenal, about the transfer status of his key players at Dortmund.
The German tactician has hinted that he may lose some of his star performers from the 2012/13 season after leading his side all the way to Wembley.
A last-gasp winner from Arjen Robben stuck a dagger in Dortmund’s hearts as a 2-1 Bayern Munich victory snatched the chance of a momentous European triumph away from them.
And having to watch Bayern lift the Champions League crown at their expense may just be the beginning of Dortmund’s misery after their manager admitted that he may fail to keep some of his prized assets this summer.
“Now we have to go on holidays and buy some players. We need some players now because other clubs want our players. And then we will start over again,” Klopp said after Saturday’s defeat.
The former Bundesliga champions share some similarity with Arsenal in their philosophy of selling key players to rebuild. Indeed, Dortmund began losing the battle to retain their stars even before the end of the campaign after Mario Gozte’s transfer to Bayern Munich was announced ahead of their semi-final clash with Real Madrid.
With Robert Lewandowski the latest player to reconsider his future, Dortmund look set to surrender more of their quality and speaking on French television during the Champions League final, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted that he is an admirer of Dortmund’s squad.
Gervinho must stay
We may be so greatful to have lewandoski at amirate. Our problem of striking will be solve.
I agree with you alhabib
He has pre contract with bayern
We may be so greatful to have lewandowski at amirate. Our problem of striking will be solve.
Arsene should try as much as possible to get us Gundogan.
I was sat there watching a team we stuffed 2-0 in their own back yard pick up a trophy in our back yard.
Did you know that since we beat them no other team scored a goal from open play against them?
Let the prof.go for lewandowski
How could they sale mario to their rival, cant they learn frm us?
Arsn wenger should atleast get atleast 3players from borrusia dortmund.
Lawandoski is who we need if we must lift trophy come next season
Arsenal should try as much as posible 2 have pizaciki nd gündogan at emirate
Make it possible boss
He will admire, take them on trials but suggest them to other clubs, just because he hates spending.what a miser.
If wenga gos 4 liwadoski, bunderga its inough 4 troph 4 us next season
Arsenal shouid try and buy Gundogan and Williams from Swansea
Its good if wengar goss 4 liwadoski, gundagun
Let the prof go for many players this summer
Wenger also said on French while comentating on the game TV that lewandowski had already signed for Bayern.
Wenger claiming that lewadoski has signed for bayern probably indicates that he made inquiry about lewadoski, and he was turned down because he has signed for bayern, am
only suggesting
I wonder why all ‘ u guys failed to mention a pivot behind most goals they scored in Marcus Reus,he oozes class. A better option upfront than d likes of Gervinho………
Wenger will be proactive in the transfer market but as usual it wll be in the bargain basement.
Lets not get carried away here…….why would anyone from from the Dortmund squad want to join Arsenal..
Wenger should go real player’s hungry strigers robert holding midfieldlers.he knows our problem for sack he should solve is time.we have waited enough
lawandowski is unrealistic but Gondogan isn’t we should totaly go 4 him.
Me tink dat dis boonch is morons…..

Guys just hate Gervinho, Its a pity he still has a contratct with Arsenal and he is such a quality player. A threat to the opponents. No defender would want to mark him, as any time he is gone. He only needs to sharpen a few things and a few loud Arsenal supports will start singing his name again. Its not that even good player should come to arsenal, We need a defensive Middie, 2 central defenders and a winger. Total of 4 mature players plus probably others of Sanogos for tomorrow.
Keepers, we have enough. They just need a good defence and we shall be there.
Then clear the Djouro, Squillince, Santos, Denilson, Arsh, Chama & Park to create space for the new signings. No need to sell a first team player iirespective of your hatred for one or two. We need to build a squad around them or later loan them to Aston Villa to beat for us Man u’s, Chelsea, Totten, Liverpool etc who may find weakness in them once the season starts.
Personally I really like the look of Reus this season! I think he would be a class edition to Arsenal, at the right price of course..
We shud sign lawan, gundogun and reus for £55 and that is £25 for lawan and the £30 for reus and gundogun out of the £70.
bring back henry!!
Buy fabregas back
