‘Arshavin sale to bring in Kalou’ – Transfer breakdown by journalist

https://i2.wp.com/www1.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Gervinho+North+Korea+v+Ivory+Coast+Group+G+FqUVkxPsRUbl.jpg?resize=296%2C225As you may have heard earlier this week, Salomon Kalou was briefly back in London from duty with Ivory Coast in Dubai to sort out his future at Chelsea which sees him with only six months left on his current contract.

The Blues are willing to offload the Ivorian striker for a cheap price, and it has been confirmed that long-time admirers Arsenal, PSG and now Liverpool have made an inquiry for Kalou.

An arrival at Arsenal for the 26-year-old would renew the Ivorian contingent at the club with Gervinho – and probably bring back a few dances – after the departures of Emmanuel Eboue and Kolo Toure.

And speaking on the show Life’s A Pitch today, journalist John Cross gave a short analysis of what Arsene Wenger could do to accommodate the signing of Salomon Kalou.

  1. What utter gash. John Cross is one of the worst hacks, the fact he purports to be a Gooner, only makes him even more of a c*nt.

  2. IRISHMAN ARRESTED AND CAUTIONED AFTER HENRY STATUE INCIDENT

(AP- LONDON) London Metropolitan Police arrested an Irishman outside the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
Francis Larkin, from KIlleagh, Roscommon, Ireland staged a protest at the recently-erected statue of French footballer Thierry Henry outside the stadium which is the home ground of Arsenal FC.
Mr Larkin wrapped an irish tricolour flag around the statue and hung a sign saying “Henry – Not Forgiven, Not Forgotten”.
The sign is believed to refer to the controversial handball incident by Henry which led to a French goal against the Republic of Ireland in November 2009.
On Monday night, Henry made his second debut for Arsenal, scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 defeat of Leeds United.
Mr Larkin made the news in 2009 when he protested against the Henry handball incident by soiling French bread in an Irish supermarket, for which he was charged and fined in the local district court.
Met Spokeswoman Caroline Shrevil said that Mr Larkin was cautioned for his behaviour. “His arrest was for a breach of public order and for endangering himself, as he angered many Arsenal football fans. He is quite a character.”

  3. This blog Ȋ̝̊̅§ shit.so amaturish if ders A̶̲̥̅ word like.miscreants
I do want Arshavin’§ cum all over my fA̶̲̥̅ce while Kalou puts hi§ fat cock on me !ß

  4. well im irish and a devoted gooner and i was gutted when king henry done that it left a very sour taste!! But as time passed i forgive him but havent forgot you just have to move on, and when he scored against Leeds i jumped outta my chair cheering like a mad man!! long live the king……

  5. That will be a good idea, but why asene wenger don‘t want to rienforce the do he think that with this his sgaud he will be able to conguer spurs.

  6. Kalou’s transfer would be welcomed considering the poor performances of Andrey Ashavin and maroaune chamark this season.

  7. That’s the problem with you”gooners,”u complain xo much abt every signing da mnger makes, kalou wud be gret for us much better than arshavin or theo nd maybe gerviniho.i’m sure we will curse wenger if he dosen’t tek him so go on arsene let arshavin go nd tek kalou while he’s available.

  8. I am of Irish ancestry but those Irish still bemoaning the handball need to look in the mirror.

Keane tried twice in that same game to control the ball with his hand in order to get a clear run on the French goal.

The ref spotted it on both occasions, but what if he had not?

Would Irish fans be bemoaning their victory if he had scored with either or both of those efforts and won the game for them?

    Just mildly hypocritical imo……..

  9. Arshavin and Chamarch must go so that we cash in money for 4 more players 2 defenders and 2 strikers but kaluo must be the first one.

  10. Kalou is a good signing especially considering that we(Arsenal) we dont have depth and I dont think offloading Arsharvin at winter is an option he is good as well.

  11. Kalou is a good signing especially considering that we(Arsenal) we dont have depth and I dont think offloading Arsharvin at winter is an option he is good as well, although he didnt score against Leeds united he was very impressive. Maybe we can sell Chamack.

  12. kalou yes he is good but has an impact of only a few minutes there after may be wenger shall have to do something special to be a 90min player

  13. This is total rubbish. Arshavin isn’t going anywhere this month. The idea that Wenger would unload his best left wing option now that Gervinho’s off to Africa is ridiculous. Whether you like it or not our little Russian will be seeing a lot more pitch time in the next few weeks.

  14. Arshavin was the best player vs Leeds & always show his class vs bigger teams (remember liverpool, barca, etc.) Actaully Rosicky & Diaby really need to sold/given away anlong with Squllachi & Djourou. Less African players the better until they switch the ACN to the summer so please no Kalou.
