‘Arteta can sell him if he wants’ – Some fans bash Arsenal star after 1-1 draw

Some Arsenal fans took to social media to share their dissatisfaction with one of the men who featured upfront in the Gunners’ clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta’s side were in action this weekend, as they looked to follow up the big win over Manchester United last week with another three points to keep their mini winning run going.
Even though the team has been involved in many games over the festive period, Arteta had no choice but to name another strong line-up with hardly any key stars being rested for the trip to Selhurst Park.
That saw Alexandre Lacazette receive another start, only five days after he had featured in the hard-fought victory over Leeds United in the FA Cup.
The Frenchman’s work-rate has been impressive when called upon, but after going another game without scoring, some fans had some criticism for Lacazette, following the draw away to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Here is my opinion on Lacazette. This is a criticism, not a hatred.
As the main striker of a club the size of Arsenal, he hasn't done nearly enough.
Signed in 2017 and has scored 6 away goals in the PL.

Lacazette frustrates the hell out of me. Yes he works hard but that should be a given.
For a player that's keeping one of the best forwards in Europe out wide he really isn't doing enough for me.
Now Auba is suspended for three games he really needs to step up to the plate.— 🔴⚪️Sully🔴⚪️ (@shaunsully85) January 11, 2020
Lacazette needs to start scoring goals as a central striker. It is not enough to fight for balls or give assists. Man has been misfiring in front of goal all day long. This has to change now that Aubameyang is red carded.

Lacazette should’ve won it. He’s not got that clinical finish that top strikers have in their locker

Arteta has done well so far, but this obsession with Lacazette is getting annoying. He has good link up qualities but it's simply not enough to have Aubameyang touching the ball outside the box and defending wide areas.

Lacazette has zero goals in the last 5 games. Should we have sold Giroud? 😫🤦🏽♂️
He now needs to step up with goals, not just work rate.
