Arsenal are now agreeing a transfer deal which will see one of the first team players leave the club ahead of the deadline.

Unai Emery is putting the finishing touches on his preparations ahead of the first game of the season this weekend.

The new Arsenal manager has had a very busy transfer window which has seen him sign several players and he is now looking to trim down his squad.

According to BBC, the Gunners are close to agreeing a deal which will see Calum Chambers join Fulham on loan this week with the agreement of personal terms and a medical set to be completed.

Chambers recently agreed to sign a new contract at the Emirates stadium which signaled at the time that Unai Emery was willing to give him a chance in the upcoming season.

The 23-year-old was signed by Arsene Wenger in the summer of 2014, but he has failed to break into the first team over the last three years.
