Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin took to Twitter to provide his reaction to the transfer move which Arsenal have agreed ahead of this weekend.
A week ago, Arsene Wenger did well to secure the signing of promising Greek defender Maprovanos who has been touted as a future replacement for Laurent Koscielny.
And following Wednesday evening’s match against Chelsea, it was time for a sale to be made as the Gunners let go of Francis Coquelin.
The 26-year-old’s move to Valenicia has now been confirmed by both clubs, ending his almost ten-year stay at the Emirates stadium.
Coquelin joined Arsenal years before Hector Bellerin did but incidentally, he broke into the first team during the same season which saw the Spanish full-back take Mathieu Debuchy’s place at right-back.
The duo were the biggest revelations for the Gunners in the 2014/15 campaign and Bellerin definitely did not turn down the chance to bid farewell to Coquelin after hearing about his move to La Liga on Thursday.
