Arsenal have been handed a new concern on the injury front regarding the fitness of key midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Arsene Wenger’s men were in worrisome form during last month as they lost several games across all competitions.
The Gunners have improved their form in recent weeks but injuries have remained a concern for the team, heading into the business end of the season.
And ahead of the weekend’s international fixtures, Jack Wilshere is the latest man who is sweating over his fitness.
The Englishman has not been troubled by injuries this term, as much as he has been in the past.
However, Wilshere has reportedly sustained a knee problem which might concern his boss with a clash against CSKA Moscow in the Europa League to come.
Much to the relief of Wenger though, the 26-year-old’s current injury does appear to be something which will keep him out for a lengthy period.
Confirmation that Wilshere has a knee problem: “Jack felt some tendinopathy in his knee it's nothing too serious. We had the option to bring here and treat him but decided to leave him back at base and see how he responds. We hope to have him with us on Saturday.” #AFC #ENG ?
