The club’s medical staff has confirmed that one of Arsenal’s key midfielders will be able to return to action next week as the Gunners prepare for an important pile of fixtures.

Arsenal are currently in the midst of a crisis after a run of poor results saw the club sack Unai Emery at the end of last month before the hiring of Mikel Arteta on Friday.

The new Gunners boss will be hoping to have all of his important players available as he looks to fix things at the Emirates stadium and secure a return to the Champions League for the club.

Dani Ceballos happens to be one of the players who are currently sidelined but the Spain international appears to be finally on his way back to action.

According to an official update from the club’s medical staff ahead of the Everton game, the midfielder is expected to return to training by next week.

“Left hamstring. Sustained during Vitoria SC (a) on November 6. Will miss Everton (a). Aiming to return to full training next week.” an update from the Gunners’ medical staff said on Friday, via Arsenal.com

With Ceballos set to return to training before the new year, Arteta will have more options to rotate in the Arsenal line-up.
