The Gunners have been given a major boost in the injury department ahead of the clash with Leeds United in the FA Cup on Monday night.

As usual, a couple of key Arsenal players have been struggling with their fitness this season as the club’s terrible luck with injuries continue.

Heading into the Premier League fixture against Manchester United earlier this week, the Gunners were missing a couple of key defenders.

Sead Kolasinac did manage to pass a fitness test to make a return, but the left-back was then forced off with an injury in the second half of the game.

After being replaced by Bukayo Saka, there were concerns over the fitness of Kolasinac, considering the fact that summer signing Kieran Tierney is already set for a long spell on sidelines.

However, ahead of Monday’s clash with Leeds United in the FA Cup, the 26-year-old has managed to return to training.

According to journalist Charles Watts, Kolasinac, who set up the Gunners’ first goal against United on Wednesday, was able to train with the squad at London Colney on Sunday.

In addition to that, Gabriel Martinelli was involved in today’s training session as the Brazilian looks to make his first appearance since featuring in the draw at Everton.
