Boost for Emery as forgotten Arsenal attacker returns ahead of Vitoria game
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is expected to have one more attacker at his disposal for the upcoming clash against Vitoria in the Europa League.
The Gunners manager has not been severely troubled by injuries this season like he was last year, with several of his key players available to be selected for the upcoming fixture in the Europa League.
Following a poor recent run in the Premier League, Arsenal have fallen way behind rivals Chelsea and Leicester City in the race for the top four places.
However, Emery’s fight for recovery has been boosted by the return of Reiss Nelson.
The young attacker had been sidelined since last month with a knee injury he sustained in the win over Standard Liege
But with certain players currently out of form, Emery will be pleased to welcome back Nelson.
After playing a part in the club’s U-23 side’s clash with Tottenham on Friday, the 19-year-old has now returned to full training, according to journalist Ben Dinnery.
The return of Nelson could see players like Lacazette and Aubameyang receive the rest they need on Wednesday.
Reiss Nelson has returned to training…. The Arsenal youngster has been sidelined since damaging knee ligaments at the beginning of October in the Europa League.
