Arsenal secure agreement over transfer move for 24-year-old star
Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has revealed Arsenal’s latest move in the transfer market following Sunday’s defeat against Liverpool.
The Gunners have faced serious criticism from fans and pundits after failing to put up a fight against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Arsene Wenger stated just over a week ago that his priority before the transfer window closes was to offload more players to trim down his squad.
And the latest man on the way out of the club appears to be Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who only has a year remaining on his contract.
The 24-year-old has been handed a start at right wing-back in Arsenal’s last two games in the Premier League.
But according to Solhekol, Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to be sold anyway since the Gunners have now reached an agreement with Chelsea over his transfer move.
Chelsea have agreed a fee with Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Not confirmed yet but about £35m
