Bradford City next for Arsenal in League cup quarter-finals

Arsenal have been assigned another trip in their quest of the league cup after being drawn against fourth division side Bradford City.

The Bantams, like Arsenal, beat the odds to make it to the quarter-finals by defeating Wigan on penalty-kicks while the Gunners completed their stunning 7-5 win over Reading.

This is an unprecedented record tenth consecutive season that Wenger’s men have made it to the last eight of this competition after being knocked out at home by Manchester City at this stage last year.

The cup tie will be the Gunners’ first visit to the Coral Windows Stadium since Bradford City met Arsenal in the Premier League back in September 2000. City’s ground, also known as Valley Parade, can host over 25,000 fans and is similar in size to the Madejski stadium where the Gunners staged a dramatic show in the previous round.

The tie will be played in the week beginning December 10.

    1. Please shut the fuck up and give respect to the opposition. Complacent attitudes like yours is why we lost at Norwich and went behind 4-0 at Reading. All you do is expect. No perspective or fair analysis.

  2. salo kootror…..pessab, padi massala tea up your ass…….tu beaken forci che…..tu pussy che…..hook-a-crook

  3. lets take it one match at a time my fellow supporters. being complacent will surely be our downfall. i’d rather we face a premier league team than a lower one cause they have NOTHING TO LOSE when playing us. nevertheless, i will predict a difficult & ugly match but still come up tops in the end. i hope i’m right… cheers.
