‘Brilliant today’,’Our best player’: Some fans lauded Arsenal star vs Burnley
Some Arsenal fans were delighted with the display of much-maligned defender Shkodran Mustafi in the draw away to Burnley this weekend.
In what has been a long campaign of frustration for most Arsenal fans, there have not been too many positives to cheer about even though some players appear to have improved slightly under new boss Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners manager watched his men settle for yet another draw as they failed to break down a Burnley side who went into this weekend’s game on the back of a big 2-0 win away at Manchester United.
Despite his injury scare on Monday, Shkodran Mustafi was able to start for Arsenal at Turf Moor as the German looked to redeem himself after his blunder in the last league game against Chelsea.
Even though the Gunners failed to win on Sunday, several fans were full of praise for Mustafi, who appears to be gradually improving his performances. Here were some of the plaudits the 27-year-old received after the game…

Really poor performance. Mustafi was probably our best player. Aubameyang and Lacazette both missed sitters. Lucky not to lose in the end. Showed nothing going forward after the 15th minute. Terrible.
