Santi Cazorla has given his thoughts on the decision Arsene Wenger could announce at the end of the season.
Unless he signs a renewal, Wenger, like the Spanish midfielder, will see his contract at the Emirates stadium expire following the 2016/17 campaign.
If the Gunners are to say goodbye to the man who has led them to three Premier League titles and six FA Cup triumphs, it would be an emotional departure for Wenger after 20 years in north London.
However, Cazorla insists he has a gut feeling that the Frenchman will remain in charge of the club beyond the summer of 2017.
“The truth is we do not have that feeling in the dressing room. The boss has not indicated that this will be his last year. Not at all.” Cazorla said in an interview with Cope
“He is fully focused on this season and I do not know what he is planning for the future. Today I do not rule him continuing another season because he has not said he will leave.
“It is in his hands and he is the one who has to make the decision but today I would say that he may continue.”
