Club confirms agreement with Arsenal over move
Arsene Wenger has welcomed back one of the club’s young prospects from a loan spell following a confirmation on Tuesday.
The Gunners have already made one acquisition, Cohen Bramall, so far in January and there is more business expected to be completed before the transfer window closes.
One of Wenger’s intentions is also to secure outbound loan deals and Jon Toral is expected to be the first to make a move of that sort.
The 21-year-old’s current loan spell with Granada has been terminated for him to switch over to Rangers after rarely featuring for the Spanish side.
And on Tuesday, Granada officially released a statement confirming that they had agreed to let Arsenal have Toral back earlier than expected
“Granada CF wants to wish the best of luck to a player who always defended with absolute professionalism and was scored a beautiful goal against Osasuna in this season’s Copa del Rey.” the rest of the statement said.
Toral has reportedly arrived in Glasgow to complete his loan move to Rangers.
