Another Arsenal player has signed a new contract at the club this week with the January transfer window now closed.
The Gunners secured only one new signing in the winter transfer window but the biggest deals saw several first team players put pen to paper on new contracts at the club.
Laurent Koscielny, Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin and Per Mertesacker have all agreed to extend their contracts over the past couple of weeks.
And the latest player to join that list is Kaylen Hinds who agreed to sign a new deal ahead of his loan move to League Two side Stevenage on Tuesday.
The Gunners have confirmed that the 19-year-old, who is out on his first ever loan spell away from the club, has committed his future to Arsene Wenger’s side.
According to Arsenal’s U-23 team’s manager Steve Gatting, Hinds would flourish in the number 10 role behind the striker.
“His best position is number 10. He’s pretty powerful, strong, scores goals and he gets into the box. He’s got a good understanding of a number 10’s role.” Gatting said.
