Arsene Wenger has pushed through a deal for one of his fringe first team players to gain more experience out of the club.

The Arsenal manager was responsible for several deals last summer as five new players were added to the squad while the likes of Wojciech Szczesny, Jack Wilshere and Joel Campbell were all allowed to leave the club.

And only days into the winter transfer window, it has been confirmed that another Arsenal prospect has completed a temporary move to Dutch Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles.

Dan Crowley, who underwent a medical over the weekend, had only returned from a loan spell at Oxford United where he scored a sublime goal back in October.

Crowley will now remain on loan with the club currently based in the Dutch top flight for the remaining six months of the 2016/17 season.

After breaking into the Arsenal squad as a promising midfielder a couple of years ago, the 19-year-old’s contract at the club is set to expire in 18 months.

Thus, various reports have suggested that Arsene Wenger has made it clear to Crowley that his game will have to improve in order for him to stay at the Emirates stadium.
