Francis Coquelin insists the club has more youngsters in the mold of Alex Iwobi being nurtured in first team training.
Iwobi, who often featured in cup competitions until recently, has cemented a place in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up following impressive performances when called upon.
After scoring in back-to-back Premier League appearances, the Nigeria international is now a favourite on the right or left-wing ahead of Theo Walcott and Joel Campbell.
According to Coquelin, who made his own breakthrough last year, Wenger has now included two more bright talents from the club’s youth ranks in training.
“We have got a few who have joined in with training, such as Jeff Reine-Adelaide – he is a big talent – and Chris Willock as well.” Coquelin said
“There’s a lot of talent there and for them to see Alex breaking into the first team will give them a sign that there’s a chance.”
