David Luiz posts emotional message after Liverpool game
Arsenal defender David Luiz had an emotional message for the fans after the defeat against Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Brazilian secured a move to the Emirates stadium very late in the summer transfer window, leaving some fans a little puzzled about the club’s decision to sign an aging defender.
Luiz made his Emirates stadium debut against Burnley as the Gunners produced a solid display to see off the threat from Sean Dyche’s side.
However, the story was very different a week later as Arsenal visited Anfield, on the back of three straight defeats in previous seasons.
It was not a day to remember for Luiz, whose errors resulted in the two goals scored by Liverpool in the second half of the game.
