Arsenal are finishing a deal which will see Unai Emery’s squad look much stronger ahead of the start of the 2018/19 season.
The Gunners have significantly changed their habits in the transfer market this summer, following the departure of Arsene Wenger last month.
Emery secured the addition of Stephan Lichtsteiner not too long ago and he has now added another man to the list of new signings.
With that transfer and the acquisition of Bernd Leno now completed, the Gunners appear to be closing in on the deal to sign Lucas Torreira.
According to the Telegraph, Arsenal are now on the brink of wrapping up the signing of the South American star.
Torreira is expected to complete his move to the Emirates stadium when he is done with international duty at the World Cup for Uruguay.
The South American starlet is likely to be one of several new additions to Emery’s squad ahead of the former PSG manager’s first season as Arsenal boss.
