Diaby breaks silence with uplifting update (Picture)
Abou Diaby is on course for a return to football.
The injury-plagued midfielder was ruled out for nine months in March after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. That came at a time when Diaby was looking to find his feet again after returning from another injury lay-off.
He has been forgotten in the spotlight ever since, but the 26-year-old had a successful surgery and could make a return with the Arsenal reserves by the new year.
And earlier today, Diaby finally showed us how he is doing after beginning his rehabilitation period this month.
In his own words, the Frenchman added:
“Things going well. No crutches.”
He’s always breaking things that guy!!!
His own words are “things going well (Alhamdulillah). No crutches”…got something against him being a muslim u asswipe?
What does religion have to do with it…he is always injured…great potential but frail
Relax buddy, no need to get so defensive, don’t need to give people the wrong impression about us. Randy even posted a pic of him praying up top. COME ON DEEEYAABAAAY
Thank you for putting this guy in his place. That part was taken out because it was summary quoting. It’s not like Diaby held a press conference.
lol! Maybe because most people who speak English don’t know what alhamdulillah means? Or don’t care what it means? So why report that! You muslims get offended by everything!!
This is a football/Arsenal website, we don’t care what silly religions the Arsenal players say they are into, in fact I don’t wanna know about any Arsenal player being deeply religious because how can any normal person trust somebody who believes something on faith rather than evidence?
…We only care about football news ok? and that’s how it should be…leave your stupid politics/religion or anything else out of SPORT!! Sport has nothing do to with religion…why is Diaby even thanking or praising god anyways? Whoever his god is has ruined his career!! lol All them injuries!! he should be hating his god!! haha!
Instead of being on here being abusive, can you not go pray to whatever god you believe in that Arsenal will win the premier league?? Do something useful with your religion!
Hey if Arsenal do win the league i might even start believing a god exists!!! hahaha
PEACE my fellow ape-man 😀
Not all Muslims get offend by everything you idiot. Why do people like you like to generalize and stereotype ? Back to Diaby what’s the point of reporting about his recovery when he won’t be back until the new year? That’s no good to Arsenal is it? Say hello to your mate Tommy Robinson; NUMPTY
Firstly I think religion is a thing that keeps peoples feet on the ground.. Keeps people disciplined and humble.. Look at player like Chicharito, ozil, etc. They always ask for their creator (whatever religion) to guide them and help them in the game, and if it brings them comfort then who are we to point fingers. We should all respect each other regardless because we are the same inside and as arsenal fans we all know our club revolves around respect and love so be nice. If you can’t just don’t comment ! Cos people are making a mountain out of a mole hill over what diaby said..
COYG stay together…
Don’t needlessly play the religion card. It reduces the strength of your argument.
In this case your argument is entirely without basis so you appear to be using it solely to give your argument basis. Sad.
knob jockey
Its really time Muslims stop thinking the world revolves around them and that everyone else has an agenda against them. You make people uncomfortable to say the most innocent of things and drag people into arguments they didn’t even want to have.
Religion is bollocks at the end of the day so stop living your one life for a bloke you have never met and live it for yourself….ass wipe
PS. ARSENALLLL!!!
I can only wish him. There is no team in world football that wouldn’t be improved by having a healthy Diaby playing for them, even if he can play only once every two weeks to avoid injury, he would be worth his wages.
I can only wish him well.
Diaby is a complete waste of space! Wenger is an absolute idiot for still keeping faith in this guy; utterly useless is Diaby!
People said the same about a certain RVP…’could be a great player, but made of glass…etc’. Turned out he wasn’t so bad after all…ok, he left after a injury-free good season, but we did get 25 mil for the ungratful cu*t.
Can only hope Diaby can put in a couple of injury free season after this, and turn out less of a Cu*t than a certain Dutchman…
Poor guy, he needs Jesus!!
Hello Muslims got Jesus already
I only wish a quick recovery. Its through trying 2 offer at his best and that is why he sustains such injuries.Remember he his a loyal player unlike Nasri and the co

apperently they can’t find pen and paper to sign him,
Maybe I can help you with that: Higuain is quite fit and If he is WALKING from Madrid to London about 1,500km distance it should take him about 280 hours. Without imposing Forrest Gump standards on him, a tough guy like Higuain walking at least six hours a day, most of him should make it to London in 46 days plus 14 days to recover and regain his weight, he should be ready for his photo shoot at the emirates in 60 days
Great to know you are doing better. Can’t wait to see you playing again. Keep us posted.

The problem is from the one who selected this picture(bastard) b/c he wanted to raise such issue and put it ahead. Me the Almighty give him both the mental as well as physical strength for his servant.
‘may’ in stead of ‘me’ for the above comment
great player. i love him
One thing people often forget. a soon as he is fit he is one of the first names on the Les Blues Teamsheet.
Undeniable quality. Unbelievably unlucky.
(remember all his injuries stem from that horror tackle that shattered his ankle)
also for that numpty who keeps posting about Higuain. transfer window doesnt actually open untill July 1st. you will hear nothing official from our club until then. The Sanogo deal is set in stone, but we still havent “announced” it yet. Patience is a virtue.
Yeah, dats arsenal, always waitin for the official day
Its good to have him back and i hope he gets real fitness for the coming season.
Everybody pls wish diaby well,d guy is class
When Arsenal purchased Diaby in January 2006, Jaques Santini, then France coach, expressed great surprise as, in his own words, Diaby is a very talented player but he is ALWAYS injured. We bought him crocked. He continues to be crocked and will ALWAYS remain crocked. All the while drawing huge wages. Diaby himself expressed doubts about his own ability and future at Arsenal recently, only to be reassured by Wenger that he features strongly in his plans for the coming season. he’ll be like a new signing…..again, apparently……

Abu, pls, try and visit prophet T. B. Joshua in nigeria let him pray and deliver u frm dis ur injury prone life. I believe dt evil forces are behind it. U need deliverance.
its time we 4get abt dis guy nd arsenal shld move 4wd
Abu is a gr8 player dat every team in d wrd wil have in dere wage bill,if nt 4 injury dat guy would hv been lyk patrick V of d invicinbles…
You really would be buggered if you needed crutches sitting down…
Insha’Allah, he gets back to fitness. I agree with Calvito64. I remember Santini giving Diaby hell for leaving Auxerre after a couple of injury prone seasons.
This is what he had to say about Diaby at the time.
“Abou was one of the players I used at the start of the season and then he had to stop because of repetitive injuries.
“Maybe he was attracted by England and the money there. This probably did not force him to make all the necessary efforts to come back to his best level with us.”
This man is an utter waste of space. He has one man-of-the-match performance against liverpool and all you lot say hes the next vieira! He is as inconsistent and poor in distribution as Rosicky. As long as he is in the squad arsenal wont lift any trophy. The entire team is as only good as their worst player. I’ll never forget that own goal he scrored against Manchester united. He scored the winning goal for them. such embarrassment, like watching Gervinho try and shoot the ball from 5 yards out against west brom and mising the ball entirely ( i was sitting by the goalpost). SELL THIS DEADWOOD ALREADY.
good news hope all goes well for him
wish you well and quick recovery. wouldn’t want you to be shown the exit door. love you in the two jersey at the emirate.
fuk off diaby
