The Arsenal faithful have lauded one of the men in midfield for his performance against Chelsea on Sunday.
Arsene Wenger’s side left the Blues frustrated at Wembley for the second time in three months courtesy of a penalty shoot-out victory which had followed a late equalizer in regulation time.
And the man who received most of the praises from fans and pundits after the game was Granit Xhaka.
The Switzerland international was charged with the task of taking full control of the Arsenal midfield in the absence of Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil.
Xhaka, who was heavily criticized at some stage last season, was in better form on Sunday and it appears the fans are back on his side.
Granit Xhaka is turning into a monster, continuously proving his importance in midfield. There will be life after Santi at Arsenal.

As fans, we notice the change in players' performances long before the wider media. They'll catch on to Xhaka's improvement soon enough.

Xhaka hasn't "suddenly improved," he's been consistently playing like this since signing. Only thing improving is your observational skill.
