Gooners react to Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to Man. City
Arsenal have been pushed further behind in the Premier League title race after Sunday’s result at Manchester City.
The Gunners knew ahead of their trip to the Etihad stadium that a victory was required to have any hopes of keeping pace with Chelsea who extended their lead to nine points with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
However, despite the bashing they received for Tuesday night’s affair at Goodison Park, Arsenal repeated just about the same movie on Sunday.
Decisions by match officials certainly did more than enough damage but after taking an early lead through Theo Walcott, Wenger’s men went on to surrender all the three points just as they did at Everton.
And here were the various reactions on Twitter as Arsenal went through yet another away day to forget this weekend.
Disgraceful performance yet again, shocking, no fight, no passion. Bottled it.

Draw Bayern, blow the lead twice in two games, go from 1st to 4th in a matter of week. Life of an Arsenal fan is like a Shakesparean tragedy

Incredibly frustrating. We're still in good shape being only two points off 2nd, but you really expected much better after taking the lead.

The most talented spineless team we've had in years

Against a city team that's struggling, missing 2 of its best players. Bravo in goal. And we fuck up. That's vintage Arsenal.

And from a random Manchester United fan…
Still find it amazing how United only drew with Arsenal at home. They are shocking and Ozil goes missing against all the top 6 teams

Time for Wenger to go. The weakness in this team has been evident in all Arsenal teams for the last TWELVE years which has to be down to blind management. Say thank you to the man, the legend and goodbye. We may have a spell where we don’t win anything for a while during the transition but hey what have we won since 2004???
again it only Alex sach that we know he is there no other person
ozil was not in the game at all again no force or presure from any other player just Alex sache
