‘Don’t let him wear the Arsenal shirt again’: Some fans bash player after 2-1 loss
Several Arsenal fans took to social media to share their thoughts on one of the players who featured at the back during the awful loss at home to Brighton on Thursday evening.
The fact that the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester City had all won prior to kick off on Thursday meant the Gunners had no room for error in the race for a top four finish.
However, despite making a bright start to the game, Arsenal went on to be dominated by the away side as Brighton opened the scoring in the first half.
The match saw David Luiz keep his place in the starting eleven, in spite of his concerning displays all season.
Freddie Ljungberg was certainly not rewarded for keeping faith in the Brazilian veteran as the Gunners conceded more silly goals at vital times during the clash with a Brighton side who had never won away at any team from the Premier League’s so-called ‘big six’ prior to Thursday.
Thus, several fans bashed Luiz after the final whistle…
I still have my doubts about whether David Luiz is actually committed to the club. Don't let him wear the Arsenal shirt again!

Just realised that the only summer signing who's been fully trusted is David Luiz, who has probably been our worst player this season.

My God David Luiz is such a liability in defense. Gets beaten in so many different ways. He’s a complete defender from that aspect. Full arsenal of ways to allow a goal.

Squillaci was a better signing than David Luiz

David Luiz, Sokratis & Mustafi. Surely no club has ever had 3 main CB’s that bad. All three of them are horrific! Genuinely horrific.

David Luiz is 32. Has won the Premier League multiple times. Is a full Brazilian international. Has played for 4 big clubs.
But he defends like he is scared of strikers. He's playing like he's 19 or something. Worst Arsenal defender in recent times.
