Arsenal fans have been boosted by a continued commitment to the club by one of the team’s useful players.
Arsene Wenger admitted after the victory over Chelsea on Sunday that certain players would be allowed to leave the Emirates stadium.
And Mohamed Elneny, who joined the Gunners from Basel for €7.7 million in January 2016, has been linked with a departure this summer.
However, the Egypt international has reiterated his desire to play for the Gunners, stating that he will be remaining at the club regardless of what is being speculated.
“I am staying at Arsenal this season.” Elneny said
“I am 100 per cent focused and will give my best to the club day after day.”
The 25-year-old played a key part in midfield on Sunday as Arsenal managed to defeat Chelsea in the Community Shield.
