Eduardo closer to return after playing 90 minutes for reserves
By Randy Osae
Eduardo da Silva is nearing a return to competitive football after completing a satisfactory 90 minutes for the club’s reserves against Stoke City on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old failed to notch a goal, but did have a late strike correctly ruled offside in an intriguing match at the Britannia Stadium.
This comes as boosting news for Arsene Wenger’s always stricken side and the availability of Eduardo will come soon. Indeed, the Croatian looked quite solid in his outing today and it will not be too much of a surprise should he be selected to make the bench for any games ahead.
On the night, English prodigy Jack Wilshere also claimed the plaudits with a magnificent brace which earned a 10-man Arsenal a 2-2 draw.
This is good news, cant wait to see him in the first team
At least we know Jack wilshere is here to stay
Randy, any video highlights for this game?
I think wenger will gradually ease him into the 1st team getting him ready to be a starter in 2010 season
I hope he will return soon (isnt Eduardo 25 ?)
