Arsenal manager Unai Emery has given more information regarding the condition of Aaron Ramsey who suffered an injury in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United on Wednesday.

The Gunners travelled to Manchester on Wednesday on the back of a long unbeaten run in all competitions.

Sunday’s 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates stadium saw many people deem Arsenal as the favourites to beat Jose Mourinho’s side.

However, it did not go so well for the Gunners who had to settle for a 2-2 draw after giving up the lead on two occasions, immediately after scoring.

One of the players who went down with an injury was Aaron Ramsey after being handed a rare start following his impressive cameo against Tottenham.

Emery has played down fears that the Welshman will be out for a long while after revealing that Ramsey’s injury is ‘smaller’ than Holding’s.

“It [Ramsey’s injury] is a different injury. It’s smaller than Rob’s. Today it’s very early because this morning we have been working, but with the players who didn’t play yesterday. ” the Arsenal boss said

“Tomorrow we’ll train before the game on Saturday and that’s the moment you can know if the players will be OK or not for Saturday.”
