Even Harry writes off Gunners

Former Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp – who has had relations to Arsenal over his acquisitions when at South Coast and childhood support of the club – has sensationally written off Arsenal as title contenders.
Most Arsenal fans will not fancy the title race any different from the Tottenham manager’s perspective, but perhaps quite sickening is how the Gunners likeliness of being champions come May gradually seem delusional to all outsiders.
Despite still eight points adrift of top spot and having gaps between rivals unchanged courtesy of an absurd all-draw weekend for the so-called ‘big four’, Arsenal have additional concerns to igniting their tile hopes – that is staying in the top four on the table.
Aston Villa are currently depriving Wenger’s men of that position, and not even until they recover their dignity, Harry Redknapp ‘knows’ Arsenal will have to wait next season for another title mount.
He did rule out current leaders Liverpool also. And could the man be wrong?
“I fancy the winner will come from Chelsea and Manchester United,” Redknapp said. “One of those two will win it. That’s not being too clever, though, is it, because there’s only Liverpool up there with them. Arsenal aren’t going to win it this year, so it’s evens between those two. I wouldn’t want to pick a winner from those two.
“I think Arsenal have dropped too many points. I can’t see them coming back into it and winning the championship. And I think Liverpool rely so heavily on [Steven] Gerrard and [Fernando] Torres. If something happened to Gerrard, I don’t know what they’d do, really. So I still see them being short of Chelsea and United.”
