EXCLUSIVE Pics: Arsene Wenger arrives in South Africa
Arsenal Football Club’s affiliation with Nike Inc. means Arsene Wenger is on duty in South Africa at the moment.
The Arsenal boss arrived in Johannesburg on Thursday to meet up with Mark Parker, CEO and President of Nike, in support of the Nike community training centre in South Africa – which has one of its changing rooms covered in Arsenal logos in honour of the North London club.
The program held in Soweto is to encourage Nike’s global popularity which has seen several youngsters handed the chance to exploit their talent in football.
And here were a few shots of our manager being welcomed in South Africa.
[slideshow]Arsene is likely to remain in South Africa to witness the summer’s big event which begins tomorrow.
I am glad he is there.Who knows what talent he might discover – mmaybe a Goalkeeper(LOL)
More pleased at his statement to day re Cesc – sounds like he will not let him go,he talks about the whole plan etc.. Hope everyone reads that staement. Trust Arsene for this one.
So much for finishing up all his transfer business before the World Cup started. I guess it dawned on him that it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to sign someone that could just get injured at World Cup.
arsene knows how to play, hope he scores 4 us a goalkeeper, a fullback or two and an experienced defensive midfielder
arsene wenger is handsome manager EPL….
It would be nice if he can use the chance to snap some new talents for arsenal team.
Who’s that good looking fella?
Surprised there are no comments re his most recent commemt on Fabregas!!
Mr. Beadle, where did you read, Mr. Wenger’s commet? I read something on Foxsoccer, but not sure if it’s the same thing you read. Let me know. Thanks.

anyone notice his checkbook in his back pocket!
That’s good if you see AW at a game that nobody else would be at..I bet he has a list of players in his back pocket too.
Come on AW..do it baby
Yeah, I think Arsenal signed him several blank checks and said, Do your thing, Wenger!

Hey, for his age he looks like he is in great shape! In the picture with “the chance” in the background where he is speaking, take a gander at his bicep. That thing is impressive!
I so want to meet him, as a Gooner he is the guy i would really really want to meet and now he is in our back yard. Where in Cape Town are you next Mr Wenger?
🙁
Arshavin is good even if he is playing badly. There is always feeling that he can do the moment of magic and he don’t need space at all which is VERY good thing in the box.
I don’t get it why people thinks he is overrated?
I woud say it is the golden boy Walcott, who has wonderful speed, but no brain and technique for football at all.
Arsharvin has not shown that he can hack it in the EPL and in a demanding team like Arsenal that are competing to win in so many competitons.
Walcott has age and intelligence on his side to improve
Pictures are good, I am really happy about Arsene being out there. He will be able to go shopping for us and bring us back what we need.
what a boring match the 1st one…..dissapointed in France now they see they should have played 2 strikers and taken nasri!!! what do u think guys?
