EXCLUSIVE: See Adebayor’s massive goal for Togo
By Randy Osae
Emmanuel Adebayor marked a beneficial international break with a full return to fitness and a virtuoso appearance for Togo on Saturday.
The 25-year-old scored the vital goal in his country’s 1-0 win over Samuel Eto’o’s Cameroon in the pursuit for a place at next year’s World Cup finals.
It was massive delight for his countrymen – as much as that of Arsenal fans who last witnessed Adebayor limping off at Tottenham in February.
The Togolese did go on to miss a penalty later in the game today but what stole the headlines was this significant goal.
Enjoy!!
good finish, but i gotto say i’d rather see bendtner carry on in the side, he was world class against newcastle and at 20 I believe he’ll be better than ade. I never believed we would win a trophy while adebayor was an arsenal striker simply because this is the best he’s ever gonna be, at 25 years old he still can’t finish for arsenal. Too many chances missed by the big man.
Bendtner was withdrawn v Malta on the 30th minute due to injury… anyone know how bad it was???
It is always good to see our players scoring goals no matter where they are. Hope that ade can maintain his scoring form so as to help Arsenal to win titles. Nice one,Randy.
