But the man who really stole the show was out-of-favour striker Park Chu-Young who put in yet another impressive performance for the club’s reserves after being paired with fellow ‘flop’ Marouane Chamakh upfront.

The Korean yet again gave manager Arsene Wenger no excuses to deny him playing time  as he unleashed a sublime effort in the first-half to hand the Gunners the first goal of their victory over West Brom on Tuesday night.
