Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech was not exactly being praised on social media after featuring in the 3-2 victory over Cardiff City in the Premier League on Sunday.
The former Chelsea star has now been at the Emirates stadium for three years, after joining the Gunners from Stamford Bridge back in the summer of 2015.
Petr Cech received all sorts of criticism for his performances last season as the team failed to finish in the top four of the Premier League for a second season in a row under Arsene Wenger, who ended up leaving the club in May.
The experienced goalkeeper was expected to be dropped for new signing Bernd Leno this season but Cech has somehow retained a spot in the starting eleven so far this term.
Cech’s performance against West Ham last weekend was deemed as a positive one but following his show against Cardiff City a week later, the critics were back on social media after the game.
