The 24-year-old supposedly arrived in the English capital earlier this week to complete the formalities of his move to the Emirates Stadium.

The French club have already assumed a replacement for Koscielny in the form of Angers SCO defender, Bruno Manga.

Laurent only joined FC Lorient a year ago from Tours but is now securing a €12 million transfer to Arsenal thanks to a terrific season which saw him lead the chart for tackles in the French league.

“According to Western France, Laurent Koscielny has been present in London since Wednesday night with his agent.

The formalization of his transfer to Arsenal, first announced yesterday, is expected to take place during the day.

There is talk of a transfer for €12 M including various bonuses.

In the aftermath, FC Lorient is expected to announce the arrival of Gabonese international, Bruno Bowl-Manga, transferring from Angers. He had been tracked by Hake last season before the club finally made a decision on Laurent Koscielny.”
