Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has revealed the club’s priorities in the transfer market ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
The Gunners managed to win their third FA Cup in the last four seasons courtesy of a 2-1 triumph over Chelsea at Wembley last month.
However, that victory did not eliminate much of the Arsenal faithful’s frustration following the team’s failure to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
Arsene Wenger, who has only managed to bring in former Schalke full-back Sead Kolasinac so far, has been urged to secure more new signings before the season begins.
And according to Gazidis, the club is still working on the acquisitions of “top quality” players with pre-season just around the corner.
“We signed one of the players in the Bundesliga team of the season [Sead Kolasinac],” Gazidis said.
“We’re looking for top quality additions.”
