Former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard has called for Alexis Sanchez to make his mind up about his contract extension.
The Chilean international has been in sensational form this season, scoring 17 goals to become the Premier League’s top scorer so far.
However, Sanchez is still unsettled at the Emirates stadium with less than 16 months remaining on his contract.
Various rumours have suggested the 28-year-old could be set for a move away from the club this summer.
However, Gerrard has recommended the forward to turn down any outside offers and tell Arsenal he wants to stay.
“I would sign a contract. He’s in good form, he seems happy. He seems like he’s playing well.” Gerrard said
“If you’re Arsenal, you give him what he wants. He’s a world-class footballer.”
