Goal of the year? Arsenal star scores fantastic strike for his country on Friday
Olivier Giroud added another brilliant strike to his portfolio on Friday in a World Cup qualifier for France.
The 30-year-old endured a stop-start season for Arsenal last term but he played a major part in the 2-1 FA Cup final victory over Chelsea as he set up the winning goal for Aaron Ramsey.
And Giroud has taken that late season form into the summer for France as they look to secure a place at next year’s World Cup in Russia.
Following a hattrick a week ago in a friendly against Paraguay, Giroud scored a selfmade volley against Sweden which many will remember.
