One of the Arsenal players who were in action for their national teams on Saturday got on the score sheet as preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup continue.

The Gunners brought the 2017/18 campaign to an end almost a month ago as they secured a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town on the final day of the season.

Up next are preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Russia which will see Alex Iwobi, in particular, feature for Nigeria after what was a frustrating season with the Gunners.

The 22-year-old was part of the Nigerian team which played against England on Saturday in a pre-World Cup international friendly.

And much to the delight of the Arsenal fans who were watching at Wembley stadium, Iwobi managed to score a goal for his country.
