Arsenal have been handed a boost on the injury front with the trip to Bayern Munich in the Champions League now looming.

The past week has been a very frustrating one for Arsene Wenger who has only been able to watch his team from the stands during back-to-back defeats to Watford and Chelsea.

Saturday saw matters get worse as Hector Bellerin was withdrawn after taking an elbow to the face as Marcos Alonso headed home the first goal of the match at Stamford Bridge.

There have been fears of a concerning head injury following reports that the Spaniard suffered a concussion in the process and did not even know what the score was as he was being replaced by Gabriel.

However, Bellerin is now in better condition and he is expected to be in contention for a place in the Arsenal squad which faces Hull City on Saturday.

A report by the Sun is also suggesting that the 21-year-old might have to wait until Friday to return to full training.

Either way, the good news is that the Gunners are unlikely to travel to the Allianz Arena next week without their first choice right-back.
