Arsenal boss Unai Emery has received a major fitness boost ahead of the trip to Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Sunday.

The new Arsenal manager has witnessed his team improve their form significantly after the worrying start to the campaign which saw them lose to Manchester City and Chelsea in the opening two games.

On Thursday night, the Gunners scored three goals to secure a comfortable win over Qarabag in the Europa League as they extended their winning run in all competitions to eight games.

One man who was not able to feature in that game was Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who failed to travel due to an illness.

However, ahead of the trip to Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday, the Gunners’ medical staff have revealed that the striker is now back in contention.

“Now available for selection after missing the trip to Baku with illness.” an update from the club’s official website said.

The Gabon international has scored the most goals for Arsenal ever since his record-breaking move to the Emirates stadium in January.
