Good news for Emery with forgotten Arsenal player now back for selection ahead of Man United

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been handed another boost with one of his injured defenders now back and available for selection ahead of the clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The Gunners will be eager to secure some sort of positive result on Monday, especially after watching top four race rivals Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and even Leicester City all win their games ahead of the trip to Old Trafford.
Heading into the clash with Manchester United, Emery is without Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who is serving a one-match ban after the two yellow cards he was issued in the win over Aston Villa last weekend.
As a result, the Arsenal boss is expected to reshuffle his defence and he will be pleased to hear that Konstantinos Mavropanos is now back and available for selection on Monday night.
The Greek defender had been sidelined for a while due to a recurrence of the groin problem which plagued him last season. However, after making his full recovery, Mavropanos is now available to play in the clash with the Red Devils.
“Now back in full training with the first-team squad and available for selection.” an update from Arsenal’s official website said.
