Good news for Wenger: Forgotten star has finally made return
Arsene Wenger is welcoming back one more option to add to his attacking unit ahead of what could be a decisive period in the campaign.
Due to injuries, the Arsenal manager has been unable to call upon certain players so far this season as the club continues to fight the age-old problem of fitness worries.
However, Yaya Sanogo, one of the stars who was yet to feature this year, has finally received some good news on his condition.
The 24-year-old had spent the past seven months on the sidelines with Wenger refusing to reveal any details about his continued absence.
According to the reliable Jeorge Bird though, Sanogo has managed to return to light training for the first time since July last year.
Here was some footage of the former Auxerre star training by himself this morning….

The imminent availability of the French striker, despite being lowly rated by fans, will be a boost for Wenger with more options on the bench needed as the Gunners pursue silverware for the first time since 2015.
Sanogo’s solitary goal as an Arsenal player came in the Champions League as he scored a vital opener against Dortmund two seasons ago.
