Arsene Wenger has received some positive news on the injury front heading into the clash with Huddersfield at the Emirates stadium.

The Arsenal manager watched his side huff and puff for much of the game on Sunday before a late penalty converted by Alexis Sanchez secured a 1-0 win.

One of the absentees from the meeting with Burnley was Theo Walcott who had also missed the trip to FC Cologne in the Europa League a few days earlier.

The Englishman is enduring an undwhelming campaign so far after finishing last season as the team’s second top scorer.

And ahead of Wednesday’s match, Walcott confirmed on Twitter that he had made a return to training after recovering from an illness.
